Zac Goldsmith has resigned as an MP.

A by-election will now take place in his Richmond Park constituency.

no, pretty safe seat gromit.
There's every chance of it, I'd have thought.
And if Boris lies down in front of the diggers, and doesn't get up in time that'll be another by-election and before you know it ... :-)

Mrs Death Mask really is scared of the LibDems then!
But one MP less is one MP less ...
Boris Johnson going to lie down in front of the bulldozers?

Not yet, but he's already lied down the side of a bus.
Goldsmith has said that he will resign and fight the seat as an independent, so that's Mrs May's majority down one then.
Goldsmith has a majority of 23,015, with a 58.2% share of the vote.

Another "safe" Tory seat ?
Ha ha jomlett!!
