My cleaner is leaving next week, as she is having a baby.

She only does 2hours every 10 days, but she has been with me for 18 months, and a nice woman.

Any ideas please, about £20.00.

You don't seem to know her too well - why not just give her a high street voucher for £20? Or go mad and give her £50!
That's generous for such a short relationship. I'd just buy a cheerful bunch of flowers to be honest.
If we're only being mercenary, it depends on whether or not you'll need her services again. Only 2 hours every 10 days suggests that you live in a small living space and that she is more of a status symbol ("My cleaner") than a necessary part of your life!
What a nice idea. I think a nice card with a voucher in would be fine. She can treat herself, or buy bits for the baby, then.
I'd go for a toy for the baby.
Mothercare voucher trt. Ignore the barbs.
Or maybe a voucher from Boots? She can buy herself or baby a gift from there.
Well, how interesting - MissLead has decided why you have a cleaner, not sure why though.

I agree a Voucher is the best option.
A voucher sounds the way to go - very nice thought, trt
I think that’s a lovely idea and agree with a voucher....maybe John Lewis or Boots or Marks so she can treat herself if she wishes.
Vouchers for M&S or boots or mothercare is a lovely idea
£20 worth of cleaning products ;-)
A very nice thought trt. I'd go for the voucher, it's more flexible than a present.

Sorry I didn't mean to mislead you MissLeed, (sorry for the pun), but I dont live in a cardboard box, and my living space is also attended three times a week, by MY carers, and MY cleaner does a deep clean.

As for as a status symbol, its certainly not, unless you think that me, placing a poster in my front window saying ''My cleaner is on duty today'' is a bit OTT. :-)

Thanks to all for your ideas & answers.
Get her a £20 Boots voucher then she has the option of either buying herself a treat or buying bits and bobs for the baby.
I'd get flowers and champagne. Or one of those plus a voucher.
flowers are always nice ..most don't buy for themselfs !
Flowers and a nice box of chocolates?
