It does look very complicated. You'd have change all your heating, light and sound devices. I wouldn't bother, myself.
have you got hive or something then?
For me its just another piece of junk. I have a house full of little dongly things and I don't want any more as I don't even know what gizmo they're for. More importantly with half the gizmos I've got, I don't know where their little dongly thing is.

## have you got hive or something then? ##

Heard of it Woof, no idea what it is or does.

It seems to me that it controls a whole load of other expensive gizmos such as Hive (central heating); Hue (lights); Wemo (special sockets you plug your devices in to so you can control them over wifi such as coffee maker, tv, sound system, electric curtain track, even your iron); your music system; your pc/laptop/smartphone so you can control them by your voice.

The idea is that you speak your instructions and it carries them out using one or more of the connected gizmos. I suppose it would be extremely useful if you are paralysed and bedbound.
Yes, another piece of entirely unnecessary junk.
Well, yes, if you're paralysed it would be useful. But why would anyone else need a gizmo to open their curtains?
If you could tell your coffee machine to make your coffee you still need to be able to pick up the cup.

It's like the washing machines from a few years ago that downloaded different programs. No. Don't bother, trt.
trt, if you haven’t got the house automation gizmos, you don’t need the gizmo to control them all. If I was still at work, I would be interested in the heat and lighting controllers.
Good luck if you decide to go ahead trt - not for me though as I 've decided I'm too long in the tooth to understand and keep up with new technology - as soon as I've mastered even the simplest thing it's been 'updated, improved and can be mine for the small sum of £?'s' a few weeks later.
