Notice also that they all seem to be males, is this something we should be wary about?

/// ^ That was a very calm and level-headed response ...for you :-) ///

It's very easy, you should try it sometime. :0)

Drivel ? maybe, but highly likely, when you see that isis and the talaban have pictures of 5 year olds being taught how to fire a AK47. Let's hope I am wrong, but I wouldn't trust them anywhere near me.
This concern has been raised in a number of newspapers today. I wonder if it will be covered by the BBC? I better not hold my breath.
Forgotten this already?

When 'they' said that children would be allowed in, I expected them to be aged under 12. Silly me!
Thanks Vetvste;

You've proved my point.

On yesterdays TV news it covered a rather very tall 'child' being reunited with his elder brother, and it was reported that the 'child' would not live with his brother but would be fostered out.

Have we not got enough children of our own who need fostering out?
What's wrong with doing dental or any other checks that would determine which of these migrants are children? Why is it intrusive as someone said on TV the other night? So what if it is? Do what's necessary. Why do the British authorities always pussyfoot around when it comes to these people?
Dave, I agree with you.
16 EU Countries use dental checks including x rays and some x ray wrist bones to determine the true ages of these "children". We are being told by our hand wringers that such measures are invasive, but it is ok to strip search and conduct body searches on middle aged holiday makers flying OUT of the UK. Guess what though, in Countries that do make an effort to get to the truth of the matter up to 90% of the "children" were indeed fully grown adults. None of course were women.

...Ok babe :-)
TOGO- I agree that 'ethics' should not be such a factor regarding teeth x-rays and I'm sure a way round the ethics rules could be found. But the BDA do say the tests are unreliable and therefore any arguments that they find the true age are flawed. What would be interesting would be to see some statistics on the reliability. Surely someone has done research into the accuracy/reliability- you could just test say 10000 (maybe African descent) people whose real ages are known and then do a statistical analysis. If teh research showed for example they were accurate 90% of the time to within 1 year that that might be sufficiently accurate. We really need this sort of information before asserting one way or another that the tests should or should not be done
