I reckon this question has been asked before but here it is again. My 120GB iPod was indicating that about 100GB was in use. This was way above what was on my iTunes. I wanted to re-sync the iPod but iTunes wouldn't as it saw the erroneous amount of used memory. I tried a factory reset and now iTunes sees the iPod but when I try to sync it, I see the message 'now syncing' which lasts only a couple of seconds, then stops. Now I'm stuck. Any ideas, anybody?

Togo - Thank you. I don't know why I hadn't seen the most basic instruction as you suggested. Sometimes you can read over stuff and miss the most basic option. iPod now fully up to date. Cheers, Andy
Haha been there Andy. Well done. Ta and a pleasure.
