I think I need to give up on web searches coming up with anything even remotely connected with what I ask in the box.

My woman is concerned that she has been warned that she has used over 3 Gb of data today and near her limit when she has done next to nothing on the PC.

I wanted to give instructions on looking at the list of updates that may have been automatically downloaded, but I don't know where to find that list in Windows 10. Anyone know where it is ?

Or indeed anyone know why a Internet account would suddenly jump up to a ridiculous amount show in a morning ?

TIA

Well done that. Have to assume it is metered now. But no idea what happens when a download is available now. Just have to wait and see I suppose.
OG I wish I could help as you've often given me helpful suggestions - alas I'm thick when it comes to technology - however can at least wish you well and hope you sort it out.

Update:
It seems when you define your Internet connection as metered, MS doesn't bother telling you that an update patch is available. They are suddenly no longer fussed. You have to regularly check for updates, explicitly, yourself.
