an Idea.

It is more than likely, that Muslim Women who wear the Burka in the UK, are not employed because there is not many company's, that could employ them for various reasons.

So as there are many vacancies for supermarkets, and other outlets needing filling, and not requiring professional qualified staff, why cant the Government stop Job-seekers-allowance, to those Ladies who wont remove them.

As this is not an Islamic Country yet! Why should there be a problem?

it's not unusual for people to have a fear of the unknown, trt , and it's only human nature to influenced by what is said by others who share our fear/dislike for other cultures. Maybe if we met some or worked with some we may have a more informed view.

Thanks trt- you are right, I wasn't aware you had worked in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Qatar for 11 years. I am wondering whether you managed to integrate successfully and adapt your clothing to fit in with the locals. I'm also wondering whether perhaps it was the locals there who tipped you off about how their sisters in Bradford, Birmingham etc were remaining on JSA by making sure they didn't get appointed to supermarket jobs.
