Just been to my mum's earlier today and she told me of a conversation that she had with her 5 year old grand daughter (my niece).

"Grandma, when I get older I want to be a doctor".

"Oh that's sweet. Is it because you can help people get better when they're poorly?"

"No .... it's because I'll be able to go through red lights".

..... my mum nearly spat her brew out lol :P

My then teenage friend took her younger sister to the shops and asked if lil sis wanted anything. Darling sis then started crying out for black currant, except she dropped the rra bit in her pronunciation. :-( Major embarrassment for friend.

When my daughter was about three we were in a supermarket and she was sat in trolley chatting away. This lovely little old lady stopped to say hello to her and said something like " aren't you a chatterbox. Is daddy at work while you help mummy?" To which my daughter said "daddy's in prison". The old lady scuttled off before I got a chance to tell her that daddy was a prison officer!!

My daughters as a toddler had trouble pronouncing the letter D, it came out as F.
She used to like going to the park/riverbank to feed the ducks
We received some foul looks from other parents as she ran toward them with a handful of food shouting "duck, duck, duckies come here'.
