Not really a problem but one of my taskbar icons (google earth) on Windows 10 has suddenly appeared as what looks like a folder and not the globe. It stills functions ok and all the others appear as normal.
Any idea how to get the globe back?

Try unpinning the icon from your taskbar (via right-clicking on it), restarting your computer and then re-pinning it. (Start > All Apps > Right-click on Google Earth > More > Pin to Taskbar).
or you may just be able to drag the icon onto your taskbar when redoing it

Sorry jno I was busy doing what Buenchico suggested when you posted.
Buenchico, that worked a treat. Thanks very much.
Two things though, why would it change appearance all by itself, and then when I came to pin it back I noticed my firefox icon had disappeared from the taskbar!!
That was easy to put back but it was ok two minutes ago.
I'm pleased that you've got it sorted.

All sorts of external things can result in file corruptions on a computer. At the moment, for example, the same solar streams which are currently creating fantastic displays of the Northern Lights are probably also causing lots of strange things to happen on all sorts of electronic devices.

Wow, really!!
Well thanks again.
There was a big W10 update recently, which probably caused the problem.
