For me, at the moment, Michael Portillo (I’ve been watching his continental rail journeys and he strikes me as a man of culture), or the BBC’s security correspondent, Frank Gardner (so interesting and I love his voice - but I’d be fighting agchristie for him).

Either Amanda Lamb to discuss selling your soul for something as naff and uninteresting as wallpaper or Kirstie and Lispin' Phil, just to find out what dirt they have on the production company that they keep getting paid to do the same thing with a different title. My wife gets the TV remote. :)
