Note to self - when opening sliding patio doors to get something in garden, do not assume doors are still open when coming back inside!! Son slid them shut, I walked straight into them full pelt smashing knees and nose on glass. What an absolute wally!!
My friend's English Setter made a similar mistake.
Result: One slightly stunned setter and a hell of a lot of broken glass!
My friend then noticed that her insurance policy had an exclusion for damage caused by animals. Oddly, she forgot to mention the dog when she claimed ;-)
Yup, likewise. (Dashing into an amusement arcade in Ostend to retrieve my 12yo lad because we were late for something, I failed to notice a solid wall of glass in front of me and bounced off it with quite a bit of force!)
I walked into a door in a shopping centre a few years ago. I don't think anyone noticed....there was no laughter...
There's now a warning sign on that door...so I must not have been the only idiot...
