Note to self - when opening sliding patio doors to get something in garden, do not assume doors are still open when coming back inside!! Son slid them shut, I walked straight into them full pelt smashing knees and nose on glass. What an absolute wally!!

Ohhhhh, get some ice on your snozzle Smow.
Hope son wasn't filming from inside, might end up on youtube or 9gag ;-).
My friend's English Setter made a similar mistake.

Result: One slightly stunned setter and a hell of a lot of broken glass!

My friend then noticed that her insurance policy had an exclusion for damage caused by animals. Oddly, she forgot to mention the dog when she claimed ;-)

Ouch - but to the optimists like me there's always a silver lining. Super clean windows!! Well done your window cleaner!!
250 quid if it goes on 'You've Been Framed', Smow.
Been there, done that - it hurts!!

I did exactly the same thing as a 12 yr old at a friends house and her entire brand new French Windows fell out!! Smashed to smithereens!

Oh, poor you, hope you are alright.

Tony - does dipping my nose in a G & T count??
>>> Been there, done that - it hurts!!

Yup, likewise. (Dashing into an amusement arcade in Ostend to retrieve my 12yo lad because we were late for something, I failed to notice a solid wall of glass in front of me and bounced off it with quite a bit of force!)
Certainly does, Smow. take the lemon out first though.
>>> does dipping my nose in a G & T count??

That's not first aid. It's religious observance ;-)
Yes, it's very hard to look composed after you've done it in full public view.
Snorting alcohol? Is it nice ?

Glad I'm not the only one! Was very hard trying to stay composed when teen smow was doubled up laughing in the lounge!
I walked into a door in a shopping centre a few years ago. I don't think anyone noticed....there was no laughter...
There's now a warning sign on that door...so I must not have been the only idiot...

Lol pasta x
My Dad did the same at his home. Put a decorative sticker over the centre of the door. It's not been repeated by anyone since he did that.
