Can anyone ell me where I can find Goldilocks brass pan scourers? I bought a box of ten years ago and I'm on my last one now. They were brilliant and kept their shape and did not rust. JL used to sell them but I cannot find them anywhere now. Any ideas please!

B&Q sell Egl Professional Copper Scourer, Pack of 10 Price £4.22 http://www.diy.com/departments/egl-professional-copper-scourer-pack-of-10/1092653_BQ.prd I expect the demand for Brass ones went down as the price when up (at a guess)

Lots of similar items on Amazon...none branded "Goldilocks"....may have ceased branding them as such. Scroll down page for different versions...

A single box of scourers lasts years? One lasts a day or two at most for me.
But as said there are loads of them but just not that brand name.
....I resisted the urge to say that I had "scoured the internet" for these things...
Available in New Zealand but that might be a nuisance.

no wonder they lasted you that long at that price - yes cheaper 10 years ago but even at that quite expensive.

I found a company in China but they were expensive. The NZ ones were $173.64 + tax for a box of 24! What's gone wrong? I looked on Amazon but there were no brass ones, just the sort you can buy in Tesco. Another step backward in life!
Anyway, thanks for input.
Good luck with your quest.

I've just bought some! Thank you Tremendous
Bramleyboy - is there soap in them like brillo pads. thanks
The B&Q Egl Copper ones don't have soap in JJ.
thanks mamy - it is just I find using brillo once only and by the time I get back to it - it is rusted and still with loads of soap. Maybe should wrap it in some thing.
Not used Brillo for years, to me they smell odd - as you say like a strange rusty odour.
There's a place downsouth that used to send me boxes of them, but apparently they are not available in UK.
You can google 'Countdown nz Goldilocks scourer' and you will find them at NZ$7 for a box of 2 = £3.70.
I am trying to get in touch to get sone sent over here.
Nothing compares to these, they are so worth paying extra for, not so harsh, work a treat, last for ages n ages. Best value, best quality - long term. Hope this helps!
