Microsoft 8" Tablet

Just treated myself to one of these, the damned thing won't accept my input of email address and password, now it thinks I am 'another' user.

How can I ( a mere mortal) wipe all this and make it start again, and yes I have tried to follow the instructions in the rather poor handbook?
