A phrase I keep hearing recently goes along the lines of 'it's a crazy world and things aren't what they used to be'.

These are big questions I know but:-

1) Where would we benefit from returning to the 'good old days'?

2) What has not changed for the better?

Jo....Yes, Watchet is a lovely place, but it has 3, if not 4 pubs, including the outstanding "The Star Inn"....

I still visit Watchet, every 2 years, staying at a farm conversion ,right in the middle of the village, just yards away from my old home. I look back on my years there in the 60's with great affection and I am still on contact with a school friend from those days.

Yes bring back the 'Good Old Days' of the 1950's when I was young.
But leave out the Polio, Tetanus, Scarlet Fever , and TB.
