Well as we are emptying out the freezer before our holidays we are having frozen roasties, and toad in the hole with whatever frozen veg I can find.

Then cheese and biscuits for supper as the fridge needs emptying too!

As I can't be bothered with a "proper" lunch...I'm sitting here scoffing prawns from a packet. They are being dipped in homemade mayo.
Tonight it's corned beef hash...homemade . Not had it in ages. :-)
A vat of Carluccio's Ragu is bubbling on the hob to be served with spaghetti and a green salad.

Starter will be a baked Romano pepper stuffed with homemade pesto and mozzarella.

Rasps and cream to finish it all off.

It was okay. I don't usually like black pudding but the one I got from Tesco was actually quite nice.
I love black pudding, lucky you Ummm. I haven't thought that fourth dimensionally of what to scram yet, the kitchen still needs a bit tidying up.. only gawd knows what I cooked yesterday.
Arky - I usually find it too strong a flavour for me and people tend to over cook it. This was pre-cut and I lightly grilled it.

Not yet...I have a nice engagement ring and we do talk about it but we're both just too lazy :-)
Do what we did ummm, pop to Vegas for a week, get married, celebrate with an all you can eat breakfast!
Well the thought of a gentleman cooking a steak for me has me drooling with desire.
It was me that suggested the steak, Ark :-) My cousins crashed here so they'd have been less sausages and bacon to go round...add a nice steak...problem solved..

Maydup...we have thought about that but I'm just not overly interested in going to America. Looked at Gretna Green but they just don't have an airport close enough.

I'm hungry now...
.. so am I, I have sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes, you'd be welcome around.. please bring steak with you ;-)
I'm holding out for lunch and it'll be scallops with salad stuff and roasted figs :-)
