got a really sharp pain in my foot, just forward of my right outer ankle, just around my cuboid bone - doesn't feel like gout and no evident swelling. Came two nights ago and quite intense....no idea what it could be. Are there any nerves down there that could be trapped?

A sqad diet of Ibuprofen at the moment.....

Any answers appreciated. Thanks in advance

Your description is appreciated and subluxation of the cuboid bone comes to mind. The bone "moves " into a "wrong " position for a time. Injury is the most common cause, but also excessive bouts of exercise may produce the damage.

Use sqad's diet for the next 36-48 hours and then reassess the situation.
Perhaps another old joke might do it good DTC.
I knew exercise was bad for you, and Sqad has just confirmed it.
