Microsoft thinking that I am suspicious......can receive normally and e-mails out work on non-Microsoft addresses but stuffed up to gmail/hotmail etc....

Most ISPs allocate a new IP address to a user every time he/she connects to their system. So simply disconnecting your router, waiting a minute or so, and then reconnecting will often do the trick. (It doesn't always work with cable-based services though).

Check your current IP address here:
http://whatismyipaddress.com/
Disconnect, wait, reconnect and try again.

thanks guys, seems to be a problem with gmail/hotmail and outlook addresses not with yahoo etc....

Tonyav's video will change the address of your computer as seen by your router. This is NOT the address that the Internet uses to identify you.

Buenchico's method will change the address which identifies you to the Internet, which is what you want to achieve.

turned out to be that my e-mail server is having wide issues with Microsoft - it's now resolved in my case. Thanks all
