I was coming home from walking Maxie and noticed a young boy doing his grandmother's garden - he was using like a broom with a very hard brush (tiny) at the end but also on the other side of the broom was like a tiny rake ie you probably raked the weeds and then brushed them.

My niece is looking for something like this but I googled it there and got nothing. Anybody seen anything like this. It sorta looked "homemade".

I bought something similar from my local garden centre.

that's it Fitzer - thanks - I will email the link to my niece.
There are possibly cheaper options, I googled patio brush and weed tool (all one search) and loads came up
Question Author
ok Fitzer - have emailed the link anyway - she can now google a cheaper version if she wants.
They sell them in aldi for few quid, less than 5 maybe, I have 2 https://www.offerscheck.org/paving-brush/aldi/2015/kw-34/261140

I see here in € they're €5.99, sterling would be less
Question Author
Ean - we don't have an Aldi in NI
Oh, that's a pity jennyjoan, they are great for little things like that brush
Question Author
they go to Donegal sometimes so they could pick one up - but for the sake of a cuppla pounds extra - she'll just go ahead and buy it.
Have seen those on sale. Looks a lot of time consuming hard work to me. Dirt will get between slabs/bricks anyway: why not just spray with weedkiller to avoid it looking unkempt ?
Question Author
they are young Geezer - take a bit of weight aff them for goodness sake. I wouldn't see you in my way when I was working. They called me Jenny the Bolt please. LOL

an update - niece bought one from Tesco's for £4. Think it was nearly £11 elsewhere.
