Hi, i'm looking to take my partner and children camping in France next year June/July, we have not been before but have been looking at Brittany, mainly due to it not being too far to travel compared to some other regions and as far as I can see, looks like a good holiday destination. been looking at the following site in particular
http://www.campingduletty.com/en/pitches-for-tents-caravans-and-motorhomes/#resa
but cannot seem to get availability for any time next year, this is same across all campsites i've tried, am I missing something? am i trying to book too early as i'm sure not all of the sites i've tried would be fully booked already. Can anybody with prior experience help me out please, I'm a newbie to this holiday booking lark, only ever booked all inclusive abroad and British camping trips but looking to go further afield next year. I am open to any suggestions of different regions/campsites, only requirement is a family site suitable for 3 year olds and close to the beach.

TIA

If you're looking at June it's low season, so I suggest you think about buying an ACSI book when it's published for next year (around Christmas time - look at http://www.acsi.eu/en/home/l2-n144/ for information and this year's campsites). ACSI gives good discounts and you can easily save the approx £10 cost of the book. Most of their sites (there are thousands) will let you book but we find it's not usually necessary but then we don't go for seaside sites. As an example we've just been staying on a site which gives out-of-season discounts to ACSI members. Our first few nights were high season and about £30 per night. The last night was low season, but not ACSI and was £25. Next week, with ACSI, the price will be £15 per night.
