Too much swearing for me, if I wanted to hear that sort of language with an Irish lilt I would go to a building site,
Samuraisan, that does not make you a bad person, just human like all the rest of us.
Seems very false, all laughing cos Mrs Brown says something "not in the script"... Just had its day, used to be funny and fresh, not any more. Move on.
says who? Rather a lot of sit coms to compete with. I'm not a fan but the quality of sitcoms are in the eye of the beholder.
I've said it before, but it bears repeating - what drugs are the BBC Comedy Commissioning Team taking, and where can I get some!!!

Not just the BBC, andy.

horrendous, cringeworthy - I watched it last night to again see if I could get some humour but all that false laughter amongst themselves only leads me to believe that there would be more humour in an asylum - at least the inmates wouldn't be allegedly acting.
I was surprised to see that headline. I don't find it remotely funny. There are far better sitcoms.
I'm not offended by the language. As far as I've heard the worst word is feck, which doesn't count, really. I don't watch for long enough to know if there's any more.
And it's incestuous - all related to each other in real life LOL
If that's the case it's nepotistic, too. ^^^
while on the subject of comedy - do any of you think James Corden is remotely funny - to me so so unfunny and I believe he has done "well" in Americay.
Just watched last nights episode. I know it's a repeat but I nearly had an accident I laughed that much.
Best programme on the BBC.
I've just looked at the list of the 20. Some I'd never heard of, some I'd watched but not really rated, some were much better than Mrs Brown's Boys.

Peep Show, The IT Crowd, Black Books, Green Wing.
that's the 21st century, easily hammered by the 20th century but there's a bit to go for a comeback!
not the best sitcom but I enjoy it ,the phone episode and waxing episode had me laughing out loud .only fools and horses is number one with me x
I am astounded - not only that The Inbetweeners did not make the Top Ten, but that Count Arthur Strong is at Number Four! It wouldn't have been funny in the 1950's, where it's roots clearly are, but the notion that it is funny now seems unbelieveable.
