Just bought some ice-cream in a local store which is being renovated. Noticed that the box looks a bit soggy at one end and not really ice-cold. When I opened it one corner of the ice cream is a little bit runny. Think maybe they had freezer unplugged for a while whilst moving things around. I've put it in my freezer now. Do you think it is safe to eat?

It'll be fine to eat. The texture might be compromised but that's about it.

Thanks for that ummmm. Was a bit worried as it's for family who are coming tomorrow.
Ice Cream that has thawed and refrozen can be eat
Sorry Typo Ice cream that has been thawed an refrozen should not be eaten.
//Refreezing thawed ice cream is safe only if it is slightly melted, and has been kept under proper refrigeration. It is also important that it was not exposed to the outside environment. //

In the scenario you outline, I would be happy to use it.
