I'm sure they would have - vandalism is vandalism regardless of what is vandalised. However, if you want to believe otherwise, feel free to do so.
Our local church had windows broken and there was an appeal for witnesses.
I really do not see why it being a Mosque makes a difference.
There were also an appeals for witnesses when the community center and a local shop were vandalised .
Are you suggesting that damage to a Mosque is viewed as more serious than the same damage to a Christian church or a 'secular' building?

Has there been a spate of church vandalism which has been ignored by the police?

^^ If more places took that line 4361 it may help get a message across that vandalism to a church is not to be treated lightly, it upsets a lot of people.
It certainly does, Eddie. It causes a lot of distress and financial worries. We had a spate of thefts of the lead from Church rooves (roofs?) in this area a while back and one Church had nearly all of its railings stolen.

im quite sure if they recieved two calls one from a church and one from a mosque, in todays pc climate theyd be all over the mosque like flies on schitt..
