Travel Lodge often cater for business visitors who want/need a short stay during the week. Weekends tend to be cheaper.
I'm confused, Jordy, 'cos I've just tried a search for a random Wednesday (10 August) and a random Travelodge (Sheffield Central) and the only prices shown are for that exact date.

So I can't see how (without another date-specific search) the prices for other days around that date could become apparent.
put different dates in and check them out it easy they all vary and in cities you'll find saturday expensive as they cater for sat night clubbers etc, i use ibis and prem a lot

I got the same (bloody ridiculous!) price for 11th August without first searching for 10th August, so there doesn't seem to be anything odd going on. (I was getting £44 for dates around there at the Sheffield Central Travelodge!)
The Festival is on so it's fair to expect high rates. The variability could down to the number of rooms they have to fill.
