I don’t think size matters in strawberries :) I find that I look for the named varieties that i enjoy. Some of the best ones are the giant ones that are imported from america at the beginning of of the season. They are starting to be cultivated here too but come at a premium price.

When i was a child I always wanted the largest strawberries in the punnet. Now I'm a grown up I've learned the smaller ones taste much better.

The smaller the fruit, the more concentrated the flavour. You only have to buy fruit in America to see that. It looks great but it`s tasteless.

Haven't had condensed milk since I was a child. Used to spread it on bread.
