I'm trying to cut down on my sugar intake and have bought some calorie free "sweetex". The only problem is they taste too sweet. Half of one is just right for my taste but they are that small they're difficult to cut. Is there another product that's calorie free but not as sweet.

I cut mine in half using a small steak knife ... and reckon I am doubling my saving!! You can buy packets of sweetener that are in grains like suger at all supermarkets. Half and half is good too but only cuts down the sugar by half (I worked that out all on my own!!) You could buy bigger sweeteners too!
Granulated sweetener exists. I use Splenda. Just add half a teaspoonful.
I stopped using sweetex and all other sweetners as they made me crave sweet stuff and I was eating loads of chocolate - now I take sugar in my coffee and no longer need anything else to boost me.
Like Islay said...using sweeteners does nothing to reduce the desire for sweets, and the body has the same insulin response to both. Better to stop using sweet anything. Stick with sugar if you must, but slowly reduce the amount you use. Your tastes will change.
