Kasperski Internet Security 2016 Certificate Issue?

My partner and I both have Kasperski Internet Security 2016 on our laptops. For a browser I usually use Opera whilst Sue uses Google Chrome. For reasons unknown she keeps getting a Kasperski warning window open saying the following: "Kasperski cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established" Underneath this is the following: Application - Google Chrome, URL - whatever website you have selected eg londontea.co.uk, boden.co.uk, Reason - Invalid name of certificate. Either the name is not on the allowed list, or was explicitly excluded. It then gives the option to either "Discontinue" or "Continue". If you click Continue the following comes up "Attention! - Your confirmation is required to perform the selected action. This action will reduce the level of protection of your computer". You can then click either "Continue" or Cancel.
I never get this happen on my PC. It happens quite at random, and applies to sites that have been visited many times before without a problem. How can we stop this happening. We do not want to click an option which then reduces the security protection - as the whole point of having IS2016 is for good security. All help greatly appreciated

Before doing anything else, check that the correct date is set on your partner's computer. (The most common cause of 'invalid security certificate' problems, by far, is that a computer with an incorrect date set sees them as being issued either in the future or so long ago that they're regarded as out of date).

Hi Buenchico, The time and date as seen bottom right of screen is showing as correct. I'm out for the day shortly so will check for any further advice later. As always, your help is appreciated.
I was getting similar using Firefox this morning. Check if Chrome has an update outstanding.
Or Kaspersky for that matter.

I have now Googled this issue came across a Kasperski Lab Forum. It seems from 2014 to present date its a common problem. Kasperski's advice is to uncheck "Scan encrypted connections" However, other users have commented that this then brings up a warning that the computer is at risk, plus it disables SafeMoney - one of the key features of Kasperski!!!
It appears it is related to certificates of websites stored in some kind of cache being possibly out of date. It is not the main websites certificate that is likely to be the cause, but a third party advertisers certificate.
There is advice on how to update certificates, but the problem remains for many. The odd thing is that it happens on some users PCs but not everyone's even with the same settings selected, and in the same house, using same router, same browser and so on.
The last person to post simply suggested keep clicking "Discontinue" when the initial warning comes on.
Bottom line appears to me to be switch from Kasperski when its time to renew. Any suggestions?
