Minty....Its not being broadcast on the Telly, just Radio Three !

This is my favourite time of year....The Proms is what makes Britain great.

28 years ago, when I worked up in Town, I attended many Proms, although I am not sure I could stand around in the arena for such long periods now !

But here is my favourite, a soprano from a little way back, Eva Marton,in the open air at Verona. The whole opera is worth watching, but Vissi d'arte is at 1:15:58..........

You put "Vissi d'arte" straight after the URL so "Vissi" became part of the URL and the Youtube video was not found.

Did you see a documentary on Puccini's life a few years ago, Mikey? Can't remember the channel, but ever since then my wife has referred to the great man as "the duck killer".
