Ideas For Fish Please ?

i got cod fillet and pollock fillets, i might make thai curry so want to know if it is possible with any of these fish ?

also also any other idea, nothing too complicated which needs a lot of ingredients as i do buy some things which can be expensive but only end up using them once and then they go off.

For me you can't beat simple cod in parsley sauce.
They'll be fine in curry but I would cook them separately and either flake in at the last min or serve as a fillet with the curry tipped over.



Thai curry is a good idea, or any type of curry.

You could cut your fish into finger pieces and make them into tempura and serve with stir fried vegetables and prawn crackers.
And tomato salsa goes really well with fish.
Tomato sauce (tomato, shallots, white wine) is one of my favourite things to serve with fish.
Mango salsa and sweet potato mash goes well too.
I like my fish cooked quite plainly and add stronger flavours as side dishes.
Mix softened butter with chives,salt and pepper,cut several diagonal slits in the fish and spread the butter on top. Get some in the cut parts. Pan fry in a bit of butter...2 minutes each side.
Tell us what herbs,spices etc you've got. Then maybe you won't need to buy anything.
