I don't listen to pop music very much these days, but in the 1970's, this album was rarely off my turntable.

You couldn't get me to Glasto in a sack, but I might be persuaded to attend a Carol King concert !

SP...that period of the late 60's and early 70's produced some amazing talent, which we will never see again.

I mentioned Tim Hardin...give this album a go....."Suite for Susan Moore and Damion" Wonderful song writer but yet another to be overcome by drug addiction...so very sad.

Thanks for the hat tip. Am listening to the link now...

I can here where Nick Drake got his influences.

Listening to this, it makes me wish I could get into a time machine and let everyone in 1972 know that by 2015 a woman called Meghan Trainor would have an international number one hit with a song about the size of her bum.

Glad to be of service everybody !

Can someone have a go at my question in Technology please ?
If anyone is interested, this concert is listed as being shown on Sky Arts next week.
First one on Saturday at 9, with 5 repeats showing so far. (Can only go a week ahead on the Sky listings.

I hope it goes ahead this time - it was listed a few weeks ago, but replaced with a Carole King Musicares tribute. (Which I thought was absolutely dire)!
