I made a batch of biscuits yesterday - about 30. Yes they had flour, egg. Vanilla essence, butter and some sugar, but son took great delight in pinching a few every time he went into the kitchen - which he would never do with shop bought. And I had a silly sense of pride in that I'd made them. So my question is - are home made really better then shop bought ?? And why.

Oh yes dunking is essential'

The smell form freshly baked biscuits (and cake!) is irresistible. Have recently found a nice recipe for oaty apricot biscuits which I've made a few times and as they're healthy too, we don't feel too guilty when we have a nibble :) Happy to share the recipe if anyone wants it....will just go and look it out.
