I smashed open the toner for my HP printer and inside were three 1inch pieces of sponge soaked in toner & £20+! Now I know who buys million pound gigantic diamonds.

This toner only lasted me a month with less than 50 printed pages. How can we get these crazy prices reduced?

I know , it's a minefield. We use a company that refills your cartridges for a fiver each.
At work we pay £1.99 a month and we receive ink cartridges through the post when we're running low.

We set it up when we bought a new printer from PC World.

It baffles me how it works. But I'm still in awe of how a TV works :-)
I have recently been buying Inkjet cartridges at £2.00 each online, they have been working fine but I think I will now go back to the Epson ones, I think they are better quality and the nozzles don't get blocked so readily. They are £11+

You get what you pay for in my experience.
You are paying for all the equipment used in making these toners and the research that goes into developing them, then you have all the premises and staff etc.etc.
