Not for the first time. At present accessing this site on the PC gives a front page full of 2013 dated threads. Trying to do anything useful fails back to the 2013 front page. Mobile via WiFi is unaffected (as this thread proves). Restarting the PC changes nothing.

PC date/time looks fine.

Anyone have any ideas why it might occur, how to fix it, and prevent it in the future ?

TIA

Ah Edge doesn't have an issue. Probably a Firefox flaw then.
First thing to try is clear out temporary internet files, cookies etc
Question Author
Fair enough, I can try that later today when I get back. I hate clearing out cookies however, you never know what you lost. I have Superantispyware take out the bad guys regularly anyway. (There is a thought maybe it needs a rerun.)
No problem with my Firefox - maybe need to look elsewhere
I used to get that problem a lot but not so much at present. It takes me to a screen with questions about "The Bill" and "Camera Batteries".

I just shut down and restart my browser and it seems to sort the problem.

It isn't all the time C@C. This is the second time I've experienced it. Last time I'm unsure how it went away, but I know a restart of ws did nothing, neither did a close and restart of Firefox.

Ah looking at related ems I think it may have been about a month ago ;-)

Right, I'll type EXACTLY the same thing again.
