I recall the first female firefighter to die on duty. Her name was Fleur and I think from memory she was only 21. She displayed great heroism and went back in a burning superstore to save a colleague.

Stuff diversity, we need people who would put their neck on the line to save others. By overthinking the make up of representation to suit statistics, we may have folk who are not top notch.
I'm sure there's a lot of professions in life that seem to be dominated by a 'lack of diversity'

My daughter is in her last year of Junior School. I notice well over 90% of teachers since year 'R' have been female.
