... you all are.
Was going to post earlier but didn't want to clash with Retro's Post.
(Doc is doing the typing as I have one hand in plaster)
What I want to do is say the MOST ENORMOUS 'THANK YOU' to everyone for their messages of support, they really were appreciated, Thank You.
Doc brought me home yesterday 'cos she was there when they said I could go, couldn't get out fast enough. She's a cruel Lady, got home and she pushed me straight into the shower because "you smell" I was just getting a rub-down with a well-thumbed copy of The Lancet when Mrs B. turned up, such a good job we've all been friends for a long time.
I've got left hand and foot plastered and a long row of staples on my head.
I did try to remember 'How to Fall' from my training, problem was that didn't include how to control a 24' ladder at the same time. An oversight by the MoD perhaps?
Best bits, I'm home, had some decent food and drink and I'm clean (thanks Doc) and comfortable. It can only get better.
Thanks again guys!
Hey, so glad and relieved to see you back, Baldric and hope you have a speedy recovery. Thanks again to your two lovel ladies for the updates.
Wags finger, don't do that again, please x
Here we go again, Doc's just come in and insists it's time for my hose down in the shower, got plastered L/hand and L/foot + scar on head so it's difficult to cover everything up and cope by myself, then as a treat we're taking the hound down the Country Park again, 'cus it's good for me or so I'm told.
