26 AC: Ancient song? I resume music playing most of money (5,2,6,2). Looks like SUMER IS ICUMEN IN, which is the most frequently used spelling. But cannot quite make the anagram fit and get stuck with an 'O', but need the two 'Us' for this solution. Any ideas, please?. And 11ac: Off moving characters forward, citing original calling. (3). Looks like NEE. Get the definition, but how does it parse? Many thanks.

Thanks Dannyk. It came to me in a flash soon after posting this - that I had to translate nonet into nine (musicians). Scorpiojo, thanks also - that one would have eluded me forever, I think!
