A Horrible And Disturbing Question

Simon Cowell has not got an O.B.E, M.B.E, C.B.E or a knighthood.

Leaving aside what you might think of his television output...don't you think it's odd that he doesn't have *anything* after his name?

Even if you think his shows are complete toilet - he's made a shed load of money for the UK in terms of acts he's promoted*...so don't you think he deserves something?







*Yes, I know, we have him to blame for One Direction, but that's not 100% his fault.

There are already lots of people who jiggled around on stage for a living who have these honours. A few examples:

Bruce Forsyth
Ronnie Corbett
Ronnie Barker
David Jason
Judi Dench
Maggie Smith
Joanna Lumley
Trevor MacDonald

If any of these people deserve their award, so does Simon Cowell

Simon does a great deal for children's charities quietly both here and in the USA.. he actually paid off one family's mortgage in order that they could afford the medical treatment for a sick child..he could quite easily have paid for that too but did not want to rob them of their parental dignity to care for their own child, he enabled that !! so yes..I think a wee gong is quite proper.
