... you all are.
Was going to post earlier but didn't want to clash with Retro's Post.
(Doc is doing the typing as I have one hand in plaster)
What I want to do is say the MOST ENORMOUS 'THANK YOU' to everyone for their messages of support, they really were appreciated, Thank You.
Doc brought me home yesterday 'cos she was there when they said I could go, couldn't get out fast enough. She's a cruel Lady, got home and she pushed me straight into the shower because "you smell" I was just getting a rub-down with a well-thumbed copy of The Lancet when Mrs B. turned up, such a good job we've all been friends for a long time.
I've got left hand and foot plastered and a long row of staples on my head.
I did try to remember 'How to Fall' from my training, problem was that didn't include how to control a 24' ladder at the same time. An oversight by the MoD perhaps?
Best bits, I'm home, had some decent food and drink and I'm clean (thanks Doc) and comfortable. It can only get better.
Thanks again guys!

Oh, I am overcome.....I want to thank you, my agent, my parents, my carers and my new postman.....(don't you just love summer when the postmen start wearing shorts.....♥)

I await the arrival of the trophy for Best Kept Bush with baited breath.....and will display it, with glowing pride, on the mantlepiece

.................................I think..... ;-)
Well done Balders - keep taking the tablets ...

D xx
what the heck are you displaying on the mantelpiece gness?
Trophy or bush?

(hides)
Glad to hear things are going ok.
Glad to hear that you are home.
Take it easy now.
As I'm sharing the trophy with Psybs, Alba.....six months trophy and six months bush I think, don't you?....☺
Take care x
It's good you're home to recover now, take it easy & stay comfortable - you can fix the cracked driveway later...
never did trust ladders! hope you recovery goes well!
Yeah me neither.
I recall very many years ago that some of the ladders I tried to scale resulted with a swift slap round the chops. :-(

Doc: Mrs B is back from work so the pair of us are going to chuck Roger and Mr B. in the car and go down the Country Park for a bit of well deserved sunshine. She has blagged a pair of Elbow Crutches from Physio so he's got no excuse.
gawd, he's not driving is he?
Balders, that is, not Roger...
We're taking my car, so no I won't let him, but I do like driving his go-faster one :-)
Have a lovely amble in the sunshine.
Fish tea on the way back home? x
If the ladies are ever too busy, Baldric....I'm happy to act as chauffeur......☻
Would you be awfully offended if he passed on that gness?
