bazwillrun, not so. The Palestinians were unceremoniously booted out of a land they have inhabited for the past 2000 years - it's as simple as that. Whatever your political preferences, it’s disingenuous to claim otherwise. They have been treated abominably. That said, since that time the world has changed out of all recognition and in the current climate I, personally, would not want to see the demise of the State of Israel. Rather Israel than the alternative.

A $3trillion injection of investment of funds from the US is the only difference between the Israelis and Palestinians. Anyone could run a successful country with that amount of free money sloshing around.

If the US money stopped coming, the Israelis would be on their at$es in no better shape than the Palestinians.
