I am trying to re-read a very very long (thousands) series of Facebook exchanges.

Of course, it starts me at the most recent - at the 'bottom' of the file, and I want to jump straight to the other end, the beginning or 'top' of the file.

Is there a way of going straight to the top?

I have tried scrolling but it takes ages, and every time it freezes, it takes me back to the bottom again!

Any help gratefully received.

I don't know about FB but the opposite issue is a nuisance here in the AB threads. You wish to carry on where you last left off reading a thread, but have to start at the top of page 1 again.

Come to think of it, BBC teletext/red button has a similar issue. Go up a level and you don't get to where you dived into a news item, but back at the top of page 1 again.

One would have thought that the techies would have solved all these irritations by now.
Comment. Anything you like, even just a letter. I think you will then find you see the later posts, starting with yours.

Thanks guys.

It's the start of the conversation I want to find - and scrolling won't work because it is too long and freezes.

Surely there is a shortcut to the top of a conversation thread!

Hope so ...
