I picked out an item last night in Amazon.co.uk with a view to purchase next day.
When i returned next day to make my purchase i was surprised to note the price of the item had increased by nearly a tenner. If this is the way Amazon operates they can forget about me as a new customer and i will make sure i will tell my friends.

...I nearly bought an item a few days ago at £18.40...the next day it was £9.90 (bought it, two in fact)....today it's £14.75. You really do have to keep an eye on Amazon and use that Amazon price-tracking site (camel...)

Yes, if you are looking at Amazon for anything clear out your cookies before going back later.
shops do the same. marks will sell something at one price one day and reduce or increase it the next.....its called selling stuff!
As woofgang says - prices sometimes change.
Just unlucky for you. That's life.
On the whole Amazon goods are cheaper than elsewhere.
Just keep checking until the price drops again, then swoop.
That is very unusual and just bad luck. On the whole Amazon is an excellent way to shop online.
It may they were price matching and someone else had it on a special
Also different dealers that use Amazon may from time to time be sold out, you will then only see the next cheapest price, possibly from another dealer.

Not Amazons fault. That's the way the mop flops I'm afraid.

Amazon has the best customer service I have experienced from any retailer, including John Lewis
Do that tip on that ad sometime back. Put it in your trolley but don't buy. According to the ad they are likely to email you and offer a lower price.
I had something in the basket for ages on thenhope they'd offer me a lower price - they never did!
