Sqaving E-Mails

I want to save certain importamt E-Mails to say a USB devce but cannot work out how to. Thanks for any help.

How do you access you emails to start with?

If you use a dedicated email client (such as Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird) your email will exist as stored data on your hard drive. If you tell us which client you're using, we can then tell you how to export that data to an external drive.

However if you view your emails on a web page then there's no stored data on your hard drive. Reading a web page with your emails on it is no different to reading this one; the only way that you can store part of the text from such a page is to copy and paste it into a Word(or other word processor) document, which you can then save anywhere you like.

Hello again Buenchico only just swiched on. I use Windows Live and also have them om my provider's Members site ie Plusnet.

Using Windows Live Mail, you need to put the emails which you want to save into a folder and then export that folder to your chosen location:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/mail-import-backup-restore

The only way to export an email from the Plusnet website is by copying the text and pasting it into a word processor document.
