Nah.I like Shakespeare but did not enjoy tonights modern rendition.Too PC. Mrs retro is in her element so I should be happy. Did I detect some Rap music?
I can't handle that with the Bard's works. :-)

There was only one weeny bit of Rap, Retroc. I struggled with that, but it was about speech patterns (I think). Did you not enjoy Judi Dench seducing Bottom so brilliantly? Mrs. Retro and I are in accord anyway - and Mr. J2 has had his eyes opened by the bawdy bits!

retro in proper shakespeare they have men dressing up as women and all that - hey nonny - no sex on stage tho' altho I could be wrong on that

I rather wished they had done a shakespeare play - rather seventeenth century I agree - but when youre old - be old !
