Did anyone else watch this last night, on Ch 5 ?

I am a sucker for any animal program, so enjoyed it lots !

But was the older Vet related to James Herriot (Alf Wight) ?....I missed the opening 10 mins.

Just looked on the Ch. 5 site and it was Peter Wright, not Wight, so I guess no relation after all !
At the beginning of the last series, it explained that he'd worked with Alf Wight as a young man.
They said the older partner vet trained under James Herriot

Ah...thanks Tizzi !

Actually, Jim (Alf) Wight (Herriot) was succeeded by his son, also called Jim Wight. I have his biography of Dad and its makes for a very good read !
Very enjoyable. Has there been an earlier series? I seem to remember the elderly couple having to sell their cows.

Q...yes I think so..,perhaps last summer.

I find 'Vet on the Hill' Ch4 very good as well
I like Vet on the Hill too. More4 8pm Mondays.
And Supervet as well, of course - makes a lovely change from gardening and cooking!!!
Love Supervet.

Supervet is ok, he does some great work, I'm just not 100% convinced by his attitude for some reason.
Baldric, do you have your new doggy?

Sorry Mikey

He came home on Monday, there is work to do, but he's not bad.
I know several people that have had their dogs treated by Noel the Supervet and that is how he is.
