Morning all
A friend of mine has just sold a laptop / tablet on ebay for his son which was working fine before he sold it , but now the guy that bought it is saying it is broke and he wants a partial refund for his time to fix it. The laptop is only just over 3 months old and was £250 new but the guy got it for £82 and came to collect it – he didn’t try it before he left but is now saying it is locked in some sort of re boot mode which he says he can fix but wants paying for his time. My friend has said he will collect it from him and if it doesn’t look like it’s been dropped will give him a full refund but the guy has refused this and says he doesn’t want him anywhere near it.
My friend obviously doesn’t want negative feedback so any suggestions?

I`d write it all up for Ebay and make it clear hes offered to collect and refund fully. The guy wont have a leg to stand on.
