Good afternoon everyone!

I'm late again, but not as late as last time!

My weight-loss continues... slowly. Dropped below 90KG for the first time since before Christmas, which is obviously a knife-edge feeling as - while I am happy to be there, I will be slightly put off when I swing back up because of general fluctuations.

Still, these milestones feel good, right?

Last week there was some discussion as to how you can get important people in your life to get on board with your weight-loss (and stop feeding you so much!)

It seems difficult to get others on side, especially if they think "you're fine the way you are". I've always thought things like this could be explained (i.e. it not about what they think, it's what you feel), but not everyone agrees.

I am a bit worried about dipping below the 90, as the temptation for cake increases dramatically - after all, my clothes fit* again!

How do we avoid distraction on the way down? Thoughts very welcome.

I reckon it's less about getting folk 'on board' than getting folk to realise 72,000 calories a day is not dieting, and a meal which would feed the five thousand is not a normal main meal for one, and one will not be still hungry after it plus the two ton unexpected dessert that followed.
Ha ha.....it sounds like someone is a firm believer that the ways to a man's heart is through his stomach.

To add to my list of sorrows I broke my toe on Sunday and it hurts and I'm wallowing in self pity at the moment.



Dreading checking in a bit. Not been the best of weeks.
Up 0.6 lbs :-(
And back above the stone level I had managed to drop below.
(I was hoping yesterdays good day would do something but no change over the last 24 hours.)
I was dreading it too OG but knowing the truth is better than trying to fool yourself because you can't stop thinking about it.

Sorry to be so positive, but I've come in at 88.8KG today. Probably a little under-fuelled though so it's a cheat-weight.

Maybe if the way to a man's heart is his stomach, you could suggest waiting for a six-pack to turn up?

Morning I should have posted yesterday .I have stayed the same .
Well that's no bad thing.

Meanwhile my scales have gone crazy. Apparently I lost 12.2 lbs over 24 hours !!!
What type of hallucinating drug have you given your scales OG?
I even weighed twice to be sure. The second time seemed to act naturally; the first time it spent longer than usual coming to a conclusion. Must be a clue.

Try while holding a bowl of salad so as to display your intentions to the scales.
Unbelievable. It now claims I've gone up 2.8 lbs over the last 2 days. And both days were good days, one just slightly above goal, the other fractionally below.
Could it be rectroactive?
If so I must be due a drop tomorrow before the weekend gets going properly.
Think you need to renew your scales . They don't like the ups and downs each day .

Dropped back down today but still above the stone level I had been beneath for a short while; so still not at pre-Xmas level. Maybe next Wednesday.
That's frustrating, OG. I keep forgetting to get my scales new batteries :-(
