I feel very sorry for the ordinary rank and file Greeks, they have been dragged into their present mess by bad, greedy government and banks, plus the hubris of the EU. There was a very good programme last Sunday (part 1 of 2) on BBC2; 'Greece with Simon Reeve'. If you can get BBC iPlayer, it is on;
I tried to give the link in script form but it won't work because AB tries to put it up as a short cut. I can't get iplayer myself here, if you are interested you can find it yourself easily.
