Morning!
I use a nylon broom to sweep hard floors before getting to work with a steam mop. Unfortunately the bristles have developed an attraction to the fluff etc. and are reluctant to give it up - except directly on to the hard floor subject of this query.
How can I clear all this stuff from the broom? I've tried under a tap, combing with a rake, that sort of stuff.
TIA

Time to buy a new broom.

^^ Hmm. I was beginning to come to that conclusion...
Have you tried : Laying the broom on the floor, putting one foot on the handle, while running a vacuum cleaner over the head ?
Question Author
^^ No I haven't. But I will now.
You might just as well use the vacuum to do the floor, if you have to get it out to sort out the broom. :-)
