Btw, mikey what I actually said was ...

I will never understand why people marching gets your adrenalin going, mikey ... yet women women and children under threat of sexual assault doesn't even raise an eyebrow.

So your answer of

Talbot...when I ever supported women and children being under threat of sexual assault ? Of course I deplore violence against women and children.....who would be in favour ?

Was irrelevant to my post.
AOG...weren't you conscripted?
AOG

You don't know whether the march will be peaceful, and you don't know whether the opposition will be violent.

Why then, did you use those two adjectives in your question?

A more honest question would be:

Shouldn't This Silent March Be Allowed To Take Place Without Opposition?

With the spin that you've put on the question, the answer from me is 'yes'.

But when the question is phrased honestly, the answer is 'no'.
Sorry to butt in to the discussion between -Talbot- and mikey444...

-Talbot- you wrote:

I'm curious - what are you basing this on?

Has there been a series of threads on AB relating to the threat of sexual assault on children and women where mikey4444 has said he doesn't give a toss?

Or where he has by implication, said that he doesn't really care about abuse?

Or do you think you may have overstepped the mark here?
I'm informed that Robinson and co have been true to their word. At least 1 counter-demonstrator has been arrested.
Well no news is good news it appears. 3 1/4 hrs elapsed and I have not heard anything yet. Once the march and speeches are over I would imagine the dispersal would have to be carefully managed as well in order to prevent some getting tanked up in the local pubs if there are any left in Brum.
Yes retrocop. Very large police presence as you would expect. March before speeches was silent with some folk applying tape over their mouths!

So far, so good. What say you Mikey?
Pleased to hear no trouble.
The silent walk had limited success as apparently nobody was listening anyway according to one....
retrocop, the march is in Solihull. I think the pubs there have strict dress codes :D
If there is no trouble than its a win all round.
1 arrest, mikey
hc...how many arrests were there in the area last Saturday ?

Given the response that Robinson normally generates, 1 arrest is progress.
It hasn't been confirmed by WMP, but the single arrest was from the other side
And I expect the arrests for shoplifting, anti social behaviour, motoring offences and all the rest was much the same as for any other Saturday

there has been a series of threads on AB relating to the threat of sexual assault on children and women but mikey never gives any opinion on those threads. A thread about some baldy men marching ... he has plenty to say.

Do I think I have overstepped the mark?

No!
Fender - your link has no relevance to todays event in Birmingham or to the OP.

The aim of Pegida UK was fulfilled lawfully and went as planned.

Like him or loathe him, Robinson put his money where his mouth is and pulled it off.

Has the leopard changed his spots after all? Whatever, he can't be ignored.
