Mrs Janz had mastectomy surgery today. I talked to her a couple of hours ago and she says she is in good spirits and hopes to be home tomorrow.....first hurdle cleared, many more to come.....

My wife had this operation 34 years ago last December, and touch wood she is still going strong,
It was tough at first because the good lady could only take her frustrations out on me
But we are fine now

So glad to hear she's in good spirits - mastectomy must be an awfully traumatic experience for a woman, so I admire her spirit. Hope all goes well from here on.

Can i just add..... My gran had a mastectomy with lymph nodes removed plus radio & chemo therapy.... 15years ago now and she is still extremelly well.
