very slowly. you need to go through each post and 'hide' it from view -this is the only way as far as I know.

If you want to clear your search history, click on the icon to the right of the search box and a list of recent searches will appear. in the Right hand cornier click the 'edit' option and this will open the searches out where you will be given the option to 'delete all searches'

Other than that you are, like millions of others, doomed to have your history on yours and others FB pages forever.
